Who is behind www.guitarjunky.ca and www.ukulelejunky.com?

Both web sites are operated by a company called Funkyguitars Inc. This fully incorporated company and both web sites are owned by Jacques-André Dupont (Founder), Arno Ziegler and Janic Gosselin.

What is your return policy?

We stand by our service and products. If within the first 48 hours of reception you are not happy, write to us and we will take care of it. Basically we will ask you to return the merchandise, and if it comes back to us in the original condition, we will reimburse, minus the shipping costs (both ways). This does not include used products, vintage products and products on concessions.

Do we need to pay taxes?

It depends where you buy the item. If you come to our showroom (by appointment), wherever you are coming from, we will charge you GST (5%) and PST (7.5%). By law we are obligated to.

If you are from Ontario (Canada) and we deliver to you there, we have to charge you 13%.

If you are in British Columbia (Canada) and we deliver to you there we have to charge you 12%.

If you are in Newfoundland (Canada) and we deliver to you there we have to charge you 15%.

If you are in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick (Canada) and we deliver to you there we have to charge you 13%.

If you are in Newfoundland (Canada) and we deliver to you there we have to charge you 15%.

If you are in P.E.I., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon Nunavut or North Western Territory (Canada) and we deliver to you there we have to charge you 5%.

If you are in the USA or any other non-canadian country and we deliver to you there, no taxes!

Why are your address and phone number not indicated on your web site?

We are an internet based company shipping everywhere in America. We ask our clients to contact us by email via the Contact Us feature on our web site. We usually answer the same day (a lot of times, minutes after you write to us!). After initial contact we will gladly phone you or give you a direct line to contact us. You are looking for a direct email? You can use infoguitarjunky(at)yahoo.ca.

Do you have a showroom we can visit?

We do have a showroom with a display of our full inventory. If you are in Montreal, contact us, and we will arrange an appointment (mostly evenings during the week).

Do you do a lot of business in United States?

Close to 50% of our business is in the USA. Our US clients like our excellent service, our fair and competitive prices and our large inventory ready to ship, We ship quickly, fully insured, and make sure our US like Canadian customers are 100% satisfied.

Do you offer manufacturers warranties?

We sure do! We are official dealers of all brand new products sold on our web sites, and all these products come with the manufacturer’s warranty.

What form of payments do you accept?

We accept Paypal and Visa & Master Card (with our paypal account). We also accept Canada Post Money Orders. You can pay cash if you visit us at our showroom.

What happens if we have a problem with a product purchased new?

Very easy, contact us and we will help you go through your warranty process with the manufacturer.
